Estonian Cinema Editors unites film editors in Estonia. The guild's aim is to develop and strengthen the professional community, promote collaboration, and increase the visibility and recognition of editing as a creative authorial profession in the audiovisual field. The organisation also contributes to the development of Estonian cinema and audiovisual culture by encouraging the exchange of knowledge and experience, highlighting the important role of editing in filmmaking, and promoting international cooperation. ECE is also a member of TEMPO, the international federation of film editors associations.
